SEO and Web Dev Specialist
Role Overview
We are looking for an SEO Specialist with hands-on Web Development skills to improve organic visibility, website traffic, and qualified lead generation. This role is primarily focused on SEO, with the remaining time dedicated to website design and development. Responsibilities include keyword research, on-page and technical SEO, writing SEO-optimized copy, designing page layouts, and building and optimizing landing pages using WordPress, Elementor, and/or Oxygen. The ideal candidate can independently manage SEO initiatives while translating those strategies into functional, well-structured, and conversion-focused web pages, using tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, AccuRanker, and BrightLocal.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on organic visibility, traffic, and qualified lead generation.
Conduct keyword research and map target keywords to landing pages and website content.
Write SEO-optimized copy, design page layouts, and develop high-performing landing pages using WordPress, Elementor, and/or Oxygen.
Implement on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, headings, URL structure, internal linking, and content optimization.
Conduct technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexation, site structure, and website performance.
Use SEMrush, Screaming Frog, AccuRanker, and BrightLocal to monitor rankings, identify opportunities, and track local and organic SEO performance.
Optimize existing web pages and content to improve search visibility, user experience, and conversion rates.
Monitor SEO performance through analytics and reporting, identifying actionable opportunities to increase organic traffic and qualified leads.
Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
Requirements
2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or in-house environment.
Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, search engine ranking factors, and technical SEO fundamentals.
Experience writing SEO-optimized copy, designing page layouts, and developing landing pages.
Hands-on experience with WordPress and page builders such as Elementor and/or Oxygen.
Proficiency with SEMrush, Screaming Frog, AccuRanker, and BrightLocal.
Experience optimizing website content, metadata, internal linking, and page structure.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and website architecture.
Understanding of website performance, crawlability, indexation, and mobile optimization.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret SEO data and recommend actionable improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
Experience with content strategy, copywriting, or blog management.
Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools.
Experience optimizing websites for multiple markets or languages.
Knowledge of link-building strategies and local SEO best practices.
