Custom Scoped Apps: Build and maintain custom scoped applications tailored to specific business needs.
Enterprise Integrations: Lead the integration of ServiceNow with third-party enterprise tools and internal systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and webhooks.
Automation & Orchestration: Leverage Flow Designer, Workflow, and ITOM capabilities to automate highly complex business and IT processes.
Scripting & Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideSystem, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes. Conduct rigorous peer code reviews.
Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), providing technical guidance, architectural recommendations, and mentoring to junior developers or administrators.
Upgrade Strategy: Assess the impact of new ServiceNow releases, manage upgrade planning, and remediate technical debt.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: A strict minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and IT engineering, with extensive, dedicated years architecting and developing within the ServiceNow platform.
Core Competency: Deep expertise in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, and REST/SOAP integration concepts.

Certifications: Must hold an active Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical client stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):
Advanced Modules: Experience implementing IT Operations Management (ITOM), Customer Service Management (CSM), or HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
Additional Certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, or other relevant modules.
